How Rapjoe Duped My Media Team: A Call for Justice
On April 20, 2025, Rapjoe asked me to assemble a media team for him. I agreed to send a proposal, and all our calls and chats are intact as evidence. In my proposal I quoted a monthly fee of ₦100,000 plus ₦20,000 for each media staff member. Rapjoe approved this and I hired a graphic designer and a website developer. The designer produced six graphics but was only paid ₦10,000. The developer’s fee of ₦600,000 was communicated clearly, yet Rapjoe later claimed he thought it was ₦60,000 and refused to pay. I kept my word, involved other professionals and covered their fees. Today I’m left unpaid, carrying the shame and debt for work delivered. I appeal to the NDC leadership, the people of Oyi and Ayamelum, and all supporters of fair treatment to help me secure what’s owed. A hardworking person shouldn’t suffer for honoring an agreement.
