Fresh from a leading newspaper, the Senate has urged the Federal Government to consider emergency measures as insecurity escalates in parts of the country. One proposal is to suspend campaign activities in eight frontline states. Senator Abdul Ningi warned that those in Abuja should not ignore violence elsewhere.
