Leon Balogun Joins Hungarian Champions Győri ETO FC on One-Year Deal

Former Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has joined Hungarian champions Győri ETO FC on a one-year deal after leaving Aris Limassol in Cyprus. The 38-year-old centre-back made 22 appearances for Aris last season, scoring twice and providing one assist. He brings extensive experience from spells in Germany with Hannover, Werder Bremen and Mainz, as well as Brighton & Hove Albion and Rangers. Balogun said he is excited by the club’s project and hopes to use his experience to help the team build on last season’s success.
