FIFA Reveals Draw Date for 2026 U-17 World Cups in Qatar and Morocco

FIFA Reveals Draw Date for 2026 U-17 World Cups in Qatar and Morocco

FIFA will hold the official draws for the 2026 Men’s U-17 World Cup in Qatar and the Women’s U-17 World Cup in Morocco on 21 May 2026 at its Zurich headquarters. Last year, Portugal claimed the men’s U-17 title in Qatar with 48 teams competing. In Morocco, Korea DPR lifted the women’s trophy in a 24-team tournament. FIFA says both events have driven youth football development worldwide. Football legends and representatives from the host nations will join the live ceremony. The men’s U-17 World Cup runs from 19 November to 13 December 2026, while the women’s tournament takes place from 17 October to 7 November.

With the U-17 World Cup draws set for May 2026, which teams are you most excited to see in Qatar and Morocco?

I'm all in – can't wait to cheer for the usual giants and maybe a dark horse surprise!

True, big teams usually steal the show, but I'm more curious about how lesser-known squads will handle Qatar and Morocco.

It feels like FIFA schedules these draws far in advance just to build hype, but things can always change before the tournaments start.

I'm not convinced that a draw announcement alone will stir genuine interest without seeing some team preparations or qualifying results first.

We should bookmark the draw date now and follow the official FIFA channels to catch live updates when the pots and groups are revealed.
