Tinubu Urges Faith Groups, Businesses and Citizens to Drive Nigeria’s Development
President Bola Tinubu has urged faith-based organisations, businesses, civil society groups and citizens to work with government to advance Nigeria’s development, saying government cannot achieve the nation’s aspirations alone. Represented by Attorney-General of the Federation Lateef Fagbemi at the commissioning of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria’s new national headquarters in Surulere, Lagos, Tinubu said collaboration is needed in education, healthcare, good governance, humanitarian services and socio-economic development. He praised Ansar-Ud-Deen for its long record of supporting education, healthcare and community service. Lagos Deputy Governor Kadri Hamzat also called on Nigerians to uphold integrity, discipline, patriotism and mutual respect as foundations for sustainable development.
