1 / 2

Joniah Walker, 19, who disappeared from her Milwaukee home at 15 in June 2022, was safely located on May 25, the Milwaukee Police Department confirmed. Ring-camera footage showed her leaving her Brewers Hill apartment carrying an unfamiliar green backpack around 2:30 pm. Officials have not disclosed where she was found or whether anyone else was involved. Walker's mother believes someone may have lured her after she deleted her digital footprint. The police continue to investigate the circumstances of her disappearance and safe recovery.

I'm not convinced the Milwaukee police actually waited four years; maybe there was more to this story we haven't heard.
