Leaked Report: Israel Deployed Iron Dome in UAE to Counter Iran’s Retaliation
A new report reveals Israel secretly sent Iron Dome batteries, interceptors and operators to the UAE days after the US and Israel launched strikes against Iran. Abu Dhabi sought urgent air defense support after Iran’s missile and drone reprisals. Prime Minister Netanyahu approved the deployment following talks with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed. This marked the first time Iron Dome was stationed in the Emirates. Israeli defenses were stretched by Iran’s sustained barrages, forcing interceptor rationing during 40 days of intense conflict. Other Gulf states, including Qatar and Bahrain, are also seeking additional systems as regional stocks run low. Tehran has warned it will hold any country facilitating attacks against it accountable and has demanded compensation from Gulf states for allowing their territories to be used.
