Shatta Wale Says Rumours Caused His Fallout With Burna Boy

Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale says rumours damaged his once-close relationship with Burna Boy. Speaking on a podcast, he said Burna Boy was one of the few Nigerian artists who contacted him personally before visiting Ghana. Shatta Wale said he welcomed Burna Boy, provided accommodation and transport, and introduced him to life in Ghana. He claimed the friendship changed after he dismissed members of his team over alleged misconduct. According to Shatta Wale, the former team members allegedly told Burna Boy that he was involved with Burna Boy's girlfriend. He said Burna Boy did not confront him over the claim but gradually stopped replying to his messages.
