But if kidnapping spreads to any region, isn’t it still the same failure of leadership? President Tinubu took an oath to protect every Nigerian, whether in Lagos, Enugu, Sokoto or Edo. Insecurity is not a regional trophy; it’s a national disgrace. Wishing harm on other regions to deflect blame only exposes a lack of faith in the government’s ability to secure all Nigerians. We deserve safety everywhere, not a competition over who suffers next.
