Delta South Aspirant Demands Justice for Ozoro Victims

Dr. Austin Orette, APC senatorial aspirant for Delta South, has condemned the recent assault on women in Oruamudhu community, Ozoro, calling it a grave violation of human rights and a sign that more must be done to end barbaric practices. In his statement “No to Sexual Abuse in Delta South Senatorial District,” Orette criticized those undermining social cohesion in Isoko North LGA. He urged the Delta State Government to take immediate action and strengthen protections for women and children. He also called for fair, unimpeded access to justice. Proper investigation and prosecution, he said, will demonstrate zero tolerance and help prevent future atrocities. Orette comforted the victims of the Ozoro assault, insisting that those responsible must be held fully accountable.
