Heaven Is My Eternal Home

I do not see this earth as my permanent home. Scripture teaches that it will pass away, while God is preparing a new Jerusalem for those who remain faithful to Jesus Christ. Revelation 21 describes a future with God where there will be no more sorrow, tears or pain. That promise is why I am willing to pray, preach the gospel, give to those in need and make sacrifices for God. I have seen glimpses of heaven in visions, and its beauty strengthens my desire to spend eternity with God. My prayer is that we will all live faithfully and meet in heaven.

Absolutely. Holding onto an eternal hope can make hard days feel less final, even when the pain is still very real.

Hope in a new Jerusalem is meaningful, but it should not make this present world seem unimportant or disposable.

For believers, staying faithful can look practical too: prayer, kindness, and supporting people who are facing grief now.
