Accused Operator of Fake 'Presidential Council' Vows to Defend Himself in Court

Accused Operator of Fake 'Presidential Council' Vows to Defend Himself in Court

Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, alleged founder of the fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, says he was lawfully appointed. He insists the appointment letter from the President’s Chief of Staff is genuine. The Presidency has denied any link to the council. Security agents are investigating Adeyemi ahead of his court appearance scheduled for July 27. Adeyemi told a national broadcaster he welcomes the trial and expects the court to vindicate him. When asked about funding for staff salaries under the council, he said all answers will emerge through the legal process. He declined further comment, saying his lawyers must handle the matter now.

How could a simply issued letter from the Chief of Staff convince people that this so-called council was legitimate?

Could something else, like the council's public statements or official seals, have made that letter seem more convincing?

It's odd that someone would claim a genuine presidential endorsement when the official channels have already denied any involvement.

I'm not convinced we should ignore his side before seeing the court documents he says will back up his claim.

Check for verification steps, like getting a copy of that appointment letter from original archives before drawing final conclusions.
