InDrive Driver Detained After Multiple Passengers Allege Molestation and Assault
A driver working for InDrive was arrested in Panti after several women came forward with allegations of molestation and physical abuse. Victims are urged to appear at the station on Wednesday, June 24, to testify against him. One victim, Ms Nhaomi, says she ordered a ride on the day of her father’s funeral. She claims the driver diverted her to another location and attacked her. She alleges he stabbed her, threatened to sell her body parts, placed acidic substance on her cheek, and stole her phone, passport, and valuables. Other women have posted similar warnings about the same driver online. Ms Nhaomi is coordinating with these victims and has shared video footage of the suspect in handcuffs at the police station. She says her father can now rest in peace, and she hopes justice will be served soon.
