Truck Driver, Woman Found Dead in Dangote Truck Along Benue Road
A Dangote truck driver and an unidentified woman were found dead inside a truck on the Kyado-Jootar Road in Igbayima, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke reportedly made the discovery during a night patrol at about midnight on Thursday, August 13. Security personnel recovered 11 empty 7.62mm Special ammunition casings from the scene. The victims were reportedly attacked by suspected criminal militia members linked to kidnappings along the route. Their bodies were taken to a mortuary in Kyado, while police and military authorities continue investigations and efforts to identify the attackers.
