Alia Nominates Six Commissioners for Benue Assembly Confirmation

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has submitted six commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation. The nominees are Kuma Aii-Yenge, Roy Ashirga, Monday Angwa, Elizabeth Ogenyi, Solomon Iorpev and Nick Eworo. Their names were conveyed in a letter read during plenary by Speaker Alfred Emberga. The governor said the nominations would fill vacancies, replace outgoing officials and bring additional expertise into the State Executive Council. The assembly has been asked to consider the nominees in line with its constitutional responsibility.
