Rumour Debunked: Power Minister Adelabu Has Not Resigned

A circulating letter claiming that the Minister of Power and APC governorship aspirant, Adelabu, has resigned is untrue. A source close to the former CBN deputy governor confirmed he was still in office as of yesterday and later traveled to the UK on official duty. Minister’s media aide, Bolaji Tunji, reiterated that Adelabu has never hesitated to declare his governorship ambition. He added that the minister remains fully committed to the race despite the approaching party deadline. Tunji assured that Adelabu will complete all necessary steps before the deadline to reaffirm his dedication to the Oyo State governorship bid.
