Man Arraigned for Allegedly Breaking Into Ex-Lover’s Lagos Home, Damaging ₦650,000 Property
A 35-year-old man, Samuel, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly breaking into his former lover’s apartment in Ikotun, Lagos, and damaging property valued at ₦650,000. The prosecution alleged that he unlawfully entered Oluwatoyin Olamide’s home on July 16 and damaged three doors and three keys. He was charged with malicious damage, unlawful entry and conduct likely to cause inconvenience. Samuel pleaded not guilty. The court granted him ₦400,000 bail with two sureties and adjourned the case until August 25 for hearing.
