Educational Basketball Brings Summer Classic 2026 to Rowe Park
Educational Basketball is bringing its Summer Classic 2026 to Rowe Park in Yaba, aiming to reconnect one of Lagos’ most historic basketball courts with a new generation of players. The organisation says the tournament will give young athletes a platform to compete, gain visibility and attract the attention of coaches, scouts and managers beyond Nigeria. It will also include a coaches’ conference focused on instructional teaching. Coach Lai Alimi, known as Coach Mancini, says Rowe Park remains a major grassroots basketball hub in Lagos. Organisers hope the event will build on that legacy through stronger pathways for player development, coach education, sports-medicine awareness and community investment.
