ADC to Inaugurate State Excos on May 12 Despite INEC Legal Challenge

ADC to Inaugurate State Excos on May 12 Despite INEC Legal Challenge

In a show of resolve, the African Democratic Congress has set May 12 to inaugurate its newly elected state executives. This decision follows INEC’s removal of ADC leaders from its official records on April 1, a matter now before the courts. Party spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi confirmed the inauguration will go ahead as planned. He praised the weekend congresses for demonstrating transparency, internal democracy and rule-of-law adherence. The ADC urged its incoming state officers to align with National Chairman David Mark. Members were commended for responsible participation and encouraged to maintain unity, discipline and dedication to the party’s vision. Expressing confidence in its new leadership, the party said it remains optimistic about expanding its structures nationwide. It added that stakeholders will be informed promptly if there is any change to the inauguration date.
