Tinubu Names Retired Maj. Gen. Adeyinka Fadewa Special Adviser on Homeland Security

President Bola Tinubu has approved retired Major General Adeyinka A. Fadewa as Special Adviser on Homeland Security. The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation announced the appointment to boost internal security coordination and intelligence-driven operations nationwide. Fadewa brings over 30 years in military intelligence and counter-terrorism. He served as Principal General Staff Officer at the Office of the National Security Adviser and led the creation of the multi-agency Intelligence Fusion Centre. After retiring, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre and authored a monograph on policing and national security. The President urged him to apply his expertise to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.
