Lai Mohammed: Nigerians Will Soon Appreciate Tinubu’s Reforms

Lai Mohammed: Nigerians Will Soon Appreciate Tinubu’s Reforms

At an Abuja meeting with leaders from Bingham University, UNA-N and ILDC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed said Nigerians will eventually appreciate President Tinubu’s reforms despite early criticism. He argued that clear political communication and visibility are essential for government success. Mohammed lamented the decline of loyalty, integrity and party supremacy in Nigeria’s politics. He urged spokespersons to be proactive, confident and more involved in governance, citing the EndSARS protests, the Dapchi girls’ abduction and the P&ID dispute as cases where stronger communication was needed. He stressed the value of partnerships between government and academic institutions to groom future leaders. The session ended with an award of excellence presented to him and an invitation to a thanksgiving event later this year.
