Andrea Kimi Antonelli, born 25 August 2006 in Bologna, Italy, is Mercedes’ youngest Formula One driver. He debuted in 2025 at age 18 and quickly set the fastest lap record. By 2026, he secured six Grand Prix wins, six pole positions and eleven podiums. The son of sportscar racer Marco Antonelli, he joined the Mercedes Junior Team in 2019. In his rookie season, he replaced Lewis Hamilton alongside George Russell and scored his first podium in Canada. He now holds multiple youngest-ever F1 records, including grand chelem and leading a lap. Off track, Antonelli co-founded a kart racing team, studies international relations and supports Bologna football and Virtus basketball. At 19, his net worth is estimated at $18 million, and he remains contracted with Mercedes through the end of 2026.
