Tragedy in Imo: Man Murders Wife During Church Service, Abducts Two Children

Imo State Police are investigating the death of a woman at Owelu, Owerri North LGA on July 13. Reports say her husband stormed a church service and attacked her before fleeing with two of their three children. He left the couple’s infant behind. The motive for the attack remains unclear. Police confirm the Owerri North DPO has visited the scene. Efforts are underway to locate the suspect and rescue the children.
