Momodu Tells Wike: Adeleke Is Not Fubara in Osun Election Clash
Dele Momodu has criticised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over his claim that the APC could have won the Osun governorship election if President Bola Tinubu had deployed him to the state. Wike said he would have helped the ruling party win "at all costs" and that Governor Ademola Adeleke would have been unable to stop it. Momodu replied that Osun residents would have “demystified” Wike, insisting that Adeleke should not be compared with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The exchange follows Wike’s renewed criticism of Fubara over the Rivers political crisis. Wike said Fubara lost political influence, including support in the state assembly and control of local government politics, after acting on poor advice from his allies.
