School Kidnappings Expose Nigeria’s Security Failure – Time to Vote for Change
I woke up to news of schoolchildren abducted in Oyo State. No child should live in fear of being taken from school, yet this horror is becoming normal in Nigeria. While the National Assembly debates xenophobia abroad, our citizens die at home. Security agencies pursue critics faster than they prevent mass kidnappings. How can a country with so many resources fail to detect these plots? Our government has failed to protect its people. Public money is looted while parents live in constant dread. Nigerians must learn to vote out failing leaders at all levels – president, governors, and legislators. We need decentralized policing, stronger border control, and harsh punishment for corruption. Every young Nigerian should register to vote and demand accountability. Our children’s safety depends on it.
