The Abia State Government, led by Governor Alex Otti, held a State burial service for the late evangelist Reverend Uma Ukpai, who passed away at 80. The ceremony took place at the International Conference Centre in Umuahia. Former presidential candidate Peter Obi joined Bayelsa Governor Duoye Diri and Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno at the event. Other dignitaries, including Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General John Mbata, were also in attendance. Governor Otti urged citizens to live honorable lives so their legacies endure. He described Mr. Ukpai’s work as timeless and encouraged Christians not to mourn but to emulate his example. Represented by Deputy Governor Akon Eyakenyi, Governor Eno praised the evangelist as a visionary leader. In his sermon, the Pentecostal Fellowship President highlighted Rev.
