Standing Firm in Faith Amid Opposition

Standing Firm in Faith Amid Opposition

Revelation 12:17 warns that those who keep God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus will face opposition. This devotional message urges Seventh-day Adventists to prepare for criticism and remain grounded in Scripture. Rather than relying only on inherited beliefs, Christians are encouraged to study the Bible personally and understand the reasons for their faith. The message calls for humility, courage, prayer and steadfastness in Christ during difficult times. Prayer: Father in heaven, equip us with Your full armour so that we may stand firm in times of trial. Forgive our sins, strengthen our faith and help us to focus on heavenly things. Provide for our needs, grant us good health and enable us to testify to Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Share your testimonies and prayer requests as we encourage one another in faith. Adapted from a devotional text.

Opposition alone should not be treated as proof that a belief is correct; examining Scripture carefully still matters.
