APC Pulls Ahead in Early Vote Count at Ikere LGA Polling Unit
Sorting and counting have begun at Polling Unit 008, Ward 03, Ile-Mi Olupegba in Ikere Local Government Area. Of 196 registered voters, 121 were accredited before counting kicked off. Preliminary figures show APC leading with 64 votes, followed by PDP on 41, ADC on 3 and PRD on 1. Twelve ballots were voided. Officials continued collating results under the watch of party agents and observers. Early returns from other units include Polling Unit 015 in Imogun Iworo (APC 79, ADC 7, PDP 6 with five void ballots) and Polling Unit 019 at Uga Camp (APC 64, ADC 6, PDP 3). Total votes cast varied by unit. At St. Michael Primary School (Polling Unit 001), APC polled 297, PDP 89 and ADC 9, with minor parties sharing the remainder. These returns suggest APC holds a strong lead, with PDP firmly in second place at this stage of counting.
