Tinubu Vows to Boost Electricity Supply with 1,500MW Injection

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that power supply will improve soon. Speaking at the APC National Convention in Abuja on March 27, he acknowledged public concerns over frequent outages and pledged focused action. He announced that the Grid Asset Management Company will inject about 1,500 megawatts into a new transmission corridor. According to him, this move will support industrialisation and create more opportunities. "The impact of our programmes is visible, tangible, impactful, and measurable—not mere rhetoric," he said. "We are moving from survival mode to stability."
