FirstBank and Visa Introduce Naira Visa Debit Card to Simplify Digital Payments

FirstBank has teamed up with Visa to roll out a new Naira Visa Debit Card as part of Nigeria’s push toward a cashless economy. The card lets customers pay securely at POS terminals, ATMs and online platforms using Visa’s global network. It aims to make daily expenses like groceries, utility bills and online shopping more convenient. Executives from FirstBank and Visa say the partnership will broaden access to reliable electronic payment solutions and support the Central Bank’s cashless policy drive. Eligible FirstBank account holders can collect the new debit card at branches nationwide.
