Struggling to Clear a Failed Statistics Course and Join NYSC – Advice Needed
I funded my own university education by doing odd jobs in Mowe and Lagos. I worked under welders, bricklayers, and in a poultry farm to raise money for school fees and jamb forms. I graduated but discovered I failed Introductory Statistics in my second year. I must retake that paper to get my clearance for NYSC uniform next month. Now I’m jobless, can’t find labour work here, and the relative I relied on in Mowe has moved away. I’m the eldest sibling, with a sick mother and no family support. Seeing my coursemates in their NYSC uniforms makes me feel like I’ve failed. I’m confused, depressed, and even having suicidal thoughts. What steps can I take to sort out this result and move forward?
