Three Nigerians Arrested in Bengaluru, Drugs Worth ₦3.36bn Seized

BENGALURU: Acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotic Wing of the Central Crime Branch raided a house in Madanayakanahalli. They arrested three Nigerian nationals – Ambemo Jela Victor (37), Chime Ndubunsi Moses (36) and Karikari Ames (33) – and seized 10.27 kg of MDMA crystals valued at around Rs 21 crore. Investigators say the trio entered on medical and tourist visas and procured the drugs from another Nigerian based in Delhi. In a separate operation in Banaswadi, police arrested Mohammed Marel Fecoge (25), a Kerala native, and recovered 2.044 kg of hydroponic ganja worth Rs 2 crore, reportedly sourced via Kerala and Thailand. Under the supervision of ACP LY Rajesh and led by Inspectors Praveen C. Tyaligar and Manjappa C.A., the city police have since arrested 13 more peddlers in related raids, seizing additional narcotics estimated at over Rs 2 crore.
