After the Ogbomoso Kidnap: A Call for Oyo State to Unite Against Insecurity

The recent kidnap in Ogbomoso exposes the persistent insecurity threatening our communities. Such violence must not be normalized. Public outrage, peaceful protests and community vigilance should send a clear message: violence is unacceptable. Security impacts business, education and tourism. It cannot be reduced to politics. Oyo State and the wider South-West must strengthen local intelligence, improve response times and unite behind this collective responsibility before indifference steals our future.
