Rogue Police Officers Extort ₦200,000 at Gunpoint in Ajao Junction
This is the picture of the gang leader who stopped me at Ajao Junction on Wednesday morning, April 22, 2026, at 5:55am. They used a Korope bus without a registration number to block my car. My colleague was forced out, and they took my keys. Three men in police uniform, one masked, pushed me into the back seat and drove under the NAHCO bridge towards Mile 2. At Cele Express before the bridge, they forced me at gunpoint to transfer ₦200,000 into a First Bank account at 6:29am. Once they confirmed the alert, they fled towards Mile 2. I reported the incident at the local police station and showed the picture of the gang leader. The force has made no progress in the investigation. I am sharing this to warn fellow commuters and call for justice.
