Please Remember Me: A Poem of Love and Longing

Please don’t forget all the moments we shared. I held you close and kissed you like a prayer. I brought you meals when hunger weighed you down, even if my own had to wait. I walked you home each night and watched your back until you were safe. I sent you data so our voices could bridge any distance. I stood by you when others turned away. My eyes still follow you as if you’re the answer to a prayer. My small gestures carried my heart and protected you in countless ways. Ol**hi, no matter where life takes us, remember the love I poured out. Remember the kindness I gave without holding back. Please don’t ever forget me.

The poem lists thoughtful gestures, but it reads like a checklist of kindness rather than a deep emotional journey.

I'm curious which moments felt more like tasks than emotional beats—could you point them out?

I'm not convinced that sending data or walking someone home alone proves genuine love all the time.

If you're aiming for that heartfelt effect, try focusing on one vivid memory instead of listing every single act.
