Operation Hadin Kai: Troops Arrest Two Suspected Terrorist Logistics Suppliers in Damaturu
On May 11, 2026, troops of Operation Hadin Kai arrested two men linked to terrorist logistics during a security sweep in Damaturu, Yobe State. Intelligence from intercepted communications and the prior arrest of a repentant ISWAP member led to the operation. Preliminary findings suggest one suspect was to collect ammunition from the other for delivery to a local insurgent commander. This raid forms part of sustained military efforts to dismantle arms supply chains and support networks across Yobe, Borno and other North-East states. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue and efforts to recover the ammunition and locate the commander intensify.
