Portable Calls Out Davido: ‘You Never Helped Me, Only Gave Bad Advice’
Nigerian street singer Portable has criticised Davido, accusing him of offering little more than bad advice and occasional freebies. Portable says their first meeting in a restaurant ended with Davido buying him food but no music verse. He claims a later hangout saw Davido buying alcohol, yet the collaboration never materialised. The singer also recalls cancelling a $6,000 show in the US to link up with Davido, only to feel his time was wasted. Portable went on to suggest Zlatan instigated tension between him and Davido, despite plans for him to be a groomsman at Davido’s wedding.
