Nollywood star Toyin Abraham revealed she hasn’t rested since crossing the ₦1 billion milestone. On her Instagram story, she admitted that the achievement hasn’t slowed her pace. Earlier this year, her film Oversabi Aunty joined the billion-naira club at the box office. She also responded to former protege Abike Shugga’s claims, insisting that the payment figures in the recent fallout over Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper were inaccurate. Abraham has been honoured with the Box Office Champion Award by the National Film and Video Censors Board and a Trailblazer award at the Silverbird Man of the Year event. She says these recognitions remind her that perseverance and passion never go unnoticed.
