Ogun State government has once again pledged its support for projects that promote culture and tourism in the region. The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Sesan Fagbayi, welcomed plans to host Miss Tourism Nigeria 2026 and launch the “Most Beautiful State in Nigeria” project. He said the ministry will provide policy guidance and logistical backing within its approved budget. A national tourism initiative’s CEO added that recent state-level campaign efforts have strengthened Ogun’s bid for the pageant. The 37-day cultural showcase will feature every state in the federation and run from June to July in Ogun, culminating in a grand finale in Abuja. In recognition of his contributions, the commissioner was also named a patron of the tourism drive by key federal and youth agencies.
