AMAC Warns Businesses to Reject Fake Advertising Revenue Letter, Confirms Valid Takushara Contract

The Abuja Municipal Area Council has disowned a forged letter circulating online that claims a new technical partner, M/S Brainshelter Ltd, will collect signpost and outdoor advertising fees. Council management urges all business owners, advertising agencies, and residents to ignore the fraudulent April 26 document and continue transactions only through the existing contract with M/S Takushara Enterprise Ltd, valid through the 2026 revenue year. Residents are warned not to share data or make payments to individuals claiming authority under the fake letter. An internal investigation is under way to trace the source of the scam. In closing, the Council offered an advance festive greeting to the municipality’s residents.
