Lagos Prepares to Host 2026 CAF Awards at National Theatre
Lagos State says it is ready to host the 2026 CAF Awards and the Confederation of African Football’s 48th Ordinary General Assembly. A five-member CAF delegation inspected the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, popularly known as the National Theatre, which has been proposed as the ceremony venue. The team also reviewed facilities linked to technology, security, transport, branding, travel and accommodation. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said Lagos is working to meet every requirement and deliver a successful event for African football.
