Shock in Badagry as Elderly Woman Found Raped and Murdered

Residents of Oke Egan in Ilogbo-Eremi, Badagry, Lagos, are reeling after the body of a 60-year-old grandmother was found in a nearby bush. Community sources say Victoria Adegoke attended a programme at Joy of Christ Ministry before returning home around 6 a.m., when she was allegedly ambushed. Her body was discovered unclothed with signs of strangulation and bound hands. Neighbours report her phone was taken by the assailants, but her ATM card and Bible were recovered at the scene. Police have yet to confirm the details of the attack.
