Simplified Support Leader Challenges Fubara Over 2027 Voting Choices
Comrade Benjamin Jaja of the Simplified Support group has criticised Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara over reported directives on political alignment ahead of the 2027 elections. Jaja said Rivers voters and members of the group should be free to decide who to support. He rejected any attempt to dictate their choices at the polls. The remarks follow reports that Fubara urged supporters to back President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and align with the Rainbow Coalition. The disagreement points to possible divisions within political blocs that previously supported the governor in Rivers State.
