Nigeria claimed a total of 12 medals at the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra, Ghana. The team won four gold, five silver, and three bronze medals. The final gold came in the women’s 4x400m relay, where Esther Okon, Toheebat Jimoh, Jecinter Lawrence, and Patience Okon-George clocked 3:29.25 to top the podium. South Africa retained the overall title with 20 medals, while Kenya and Ethiopia secured second and third places respectively.
