Kogi Security Operatives Rescue Principal, NECO Official and Students After School Abduction
Security forces have freed four students, their principal and a NECO ad-hoc staff member who were kidnapped during an attack on a school in Odo-Ekina, Dekina LGA of Kogi State. The rescue operation was ordered immediately by Governor Usman Ododo. Armoured Personnel Carriers and heavily armed teams from the Army, DSS, Police and local units were deployed to pressure the kidnappers. Under sustained security pressure, the criminals abandoned the victims and fled. All six rescued victims are safe and undergoing medical checks and debriefing. The Kogi State Government praised the gallantry and professionalism of all agencies involved and vowed to continue the manhunt until every perpetrator faces justice.
