Zambia Coach Vows to Chase Victory Against Super Falcons in WAFCON Clash
Zambia coach Nora Häuptle says the Copper Queens will go for victory when they face Nigeria’s Super Falcons in Saturday’s WAFCON Group C match. Häuptle said her team does not play for draws and believes Zambia have improved since their quarter-final defeat to Nigeria at the last tournament. She added that matches against highly ranked opposition in the FIFA Series have helped her players gain experience. The Zambia coach expects the Super Falcons to respond strongly after their 3-2 loss to Malawi. However, she said Zambia have studied Nigeria’s strengths, prepared a clear approach and believe they can challenge for all three points.
