Investigators found encrypted Signal chats linking at least 23 users. A suspect told authorities the goal was to target capitalist elites, billionaires and politicians associated with a lobbying group. FBI Director Kash Patel praised the coordinated work that prevented mass casualties. The UFC event coincided with the former president’s 80th birthday and drew around 4,300 attendees, including active-duty service members.
