Anthony Joshua to Return in Riyadh on July 25 After Tragic Crash

Anthony Joshua will step back into the ring on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is set to face Kristian Prenga in a warm-up bout ahead of a proposed showdown with Tyson Fury later this year. The fight forms part of the Esports World Cup event and will be broadcast live on DAZN. Joshua has also agreed a two-fight deal with Riyadh Season, with the second contest expected at the end of the year. This will be his first appearance since surviving a deadly car crash last December that claimed two of his close friends and his knockout victory over Jake Paul. “It’s no secret I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring,” Joshua said. “I’m looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off.”

Will this Riyadh match really reveal if Joshua's back in top form for Fury, or is it just a tune-up fight?

A warm-up bout with Kristian Prenga seems low stakes, yet tying it to an Esports World Cup feels like an odd mix.

I no sure say this warm-up fight go test Joshua's championship mettle, especially before a major Fury showdown.

Fans should look for DA broadcast details early and plan watch parties if they want to catch Joshua's comeback live.
