Brigadier-General Braimah’s Final Call with Twin Interrupted by Terrorist Attack

A chilling account has emerged of how a midnight phone call ended when terrorists struck the 29 Task Force Brigade Headquarters in Borno State. According to reports, Brigadier-General Oseni Braimah was speaking with his twin brother abroad when he paused as if sensing danger. Moments later, the line went dead. Repeated calls and messages from the brother failed to connect. Hours later, a senior Army officer confirmed that the base had been attacked and that Braimah and several soldiers were killed. The late General, an indigene of Edo State, was buried alongside his troops in Maiduguri. In solidarity, the Edo State Governor approved full scholarships for his three children.
