Securing Nigeria: Call for Christians to Stand Against Foreign Interference

I am a devout Christian and proud Nigerian. Our country is not for sale and we must never allow external forces to jeopardize our unity. I urge all Nigerian Christians and the Christian Association of Nigeria to unite against any attempt by foreign powers to exploit our domestic affairs. Recent comments by some American lawmakers on persecution in Nigeria reveal a hypocritical focus abroad while ignoring injustices at home. This is part of a broader petro-dollar strategy that fuels global conflict. We have seen this in Iraq, Venezuela and Iran. Nigeria should not become another battleground. Let us stand firm and reject any interference that seeks to divide us for external gain.

While protecting national sovereignty matters, focusing only on Christians might exclude other faith communities equally concerned about foreign influence.

Perhaps the Christian Association could organize interdenominational forums to discuss foreign interference and draft a unified action plan for all regions.
